Bathroom Renovation Ottawa – Greenborough Street

Modern homes depend highly on how good and functional their bathrooms are, and who better to trust for your bathroom renovations than Renosgroup? We not only have the best team of workers but also complete our job on time.

One such project executed by the Renosgroup is none other than that at Greensborough Street, Ottawa. This project is known for being famous amongst our clients because of the classic look and maximum utility it maintains simultaneously.

Our client wanted a contemporary look for this bathroom but also wanted maximum areas for storage. She preferred having a shower area as compared to a bathtub and wanted everything to be sleek and fit in place.

We started off with the design for the bathroom. Since this was a bathroom that was longer in length, we went for a design with 3 designated areas – one for the shower, one for the vanity and storage area, and then the open area we would be keeping.

For this bathroom renovation, we firstly decided to replace the old typical steel bathtub and put a new one with an acrylic shower base with the same footprint as the tub. This new tub was extremely sleek and chic, giving the bathroom a great look. We also installed new tiles that were bordered blue as per the client’s request, which gave the bathroom a much-needed pop of color.

After this, we added a corner shower seat and moved the shower faucet at the back to maximize accessibility according to the client’s wishes. Alongside this, we also added a sliding rail on the hand shower alongside a shower seat, which made it easier to rinse while sitting.

The best part of this whole renovation, though, was undoubtedly adding a new vanity that had custom-made cabinetry in white. Alongside it, we included a linen tower with glass in the top door. This ticked off the requirement our client had for extra storage space in the bathroom.

For the flooring, we stuck to 4 x 4 white tiles. They contrasted well with the pop of blue used in the shower and on the sink’s countertop. These tiles were also used to cover the walls, except in the shower area or behind cabinetry.

Lastly, we also added a new toilet and bathroom accessories to complete the look. With so many small but key changes and additions, our team ensured that the clients were fully satisfied with the look.
